Cooking a holiday meal???

So we are finally starting to think that we will be able to cook a holiday meal in our new home.  Things are really coming together.  All the trim has been put around the upstairs and they have started to work on the window trim downstairs.  A lot of the lights have been installed upstairs.  The main things that have to be finished on the first floor are the master shower, trim and tile in the kitchen, toilets and miscellaneous plumbing, tile in the mudroom and stone on the fireplaces.  It's so exciting to go up there every day and see all the progress they are making.  Here are pictures from this week's updates.
The lights and the window frame have been added.  Crown molding, the white subway tile backsplash, butcher block top for the island and appliances/faucet are the only things left to be added.

Updates for this week

This week they just about finished all the flooring on the first floor.  Granite Works from Waverly, NY came and installed our granite in the kitchen and master bath.  Our master bath vanity is just about finished, it just needs the faucets.  Jesse started to tile the master bath shower and they have started to work on the trim on the windows and the baseboards.  Here are some updated photos.

This is the flooring in Kaleb's room.  It's called Robin Egg's Blue by Nydree Flooring.
This flooring is in the dining room, great room, hallway to kids' rooms, powder room and the landing on the stairs.  It's Whisper Brown by Armstrong.
Here is the sink and granite installed in the kitchen.  The granite is waterfall and the sink is Blanco Silgranit in Biscuit.
Here's another shot of the granite.
Here is the whitewashed barn wood in the master.  The flooring is Windy City Rain by Nydree and I forget what the wall color's name.  It's a darker version of Stony Path.
The master bath is getting there!
The flooring in the master bath is cork from Lowes.  The color is called Sage.
This picture doesn't do the tile justice.  Can't wait to share a completed photo.
Super happy with the completed antique vanity.
The granite is call Furacan Bordeaux.  They come up with some crazy names for granite.
They just started to put the trim up around the doors and along the baseboards.
Here's the view right now from the back porch.
Here is the playroom.  It's the only really bright color we picked in the entire house.  The black square is black board paint and will be trimmed in the same white trim as the windows.
Here is the guest room.  The paint is called Autumn Fog.  It's a really pretty blue gray color.
More trim around the office doors.
Another look at the stair well with barn wood.
